Stir-Fried Cauliflower recipe

This is the only way that Oldest Daughter would eat cauliflower when she was little. I think this recipe is VERY delicious!

Stir-Fried Cauliflower

1 med cauliflower, cut into small florets
3 T peanut oil or sunflower oil
1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced very finely
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 fresh chili, sliced very finely (optional)
2 T yellow bean sauce
1 T dark sesame oil
a little soy sauce to taste
3 T chopped cilantro, to garnish

Cut the cauliflower florets into thin slices. Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the cauliflower, ginger, garlic and chili (if using) for 3 minutes. Then add 2 T water and turn the heat down low. Cover with a lid and steam for 5-6 minutes, shaking the pan or stirring from time to time.

Stir in the yellow bean sauce and sesame oil, then season to taste with soy sauce. Serve sprinkled with the cilantro. Serves 3-4
